BYD UK Reaches 100,000 UK Car Sales in 3 Years

BYD UK have officially reached the significant milestone of over 100,000 car registrations in Britain, after first launching to the UK car market in 2023.

Sales first began for the brand back in March 2023, with the debut model being the BYD ATTO 3. Since this point, BYD have now registered over 100,000 cars across the UK from both their fully electric and plug-in hybrid range. Of the 100,000 units registered since launching in the UK, 37,995 of them were registered in the first half of 2026 alone. In addition since launch, BYD have gone from five retailers in the country to a broader network of over 140 sites.
