XPENG G9L SUV Revealed at Paris Motor Show 2026

Having completed its production trial in Austria, the XPENG G9L is now the fourth model from XPENG to be produced in Europe. As the first model to be produced by XPENG at Magna in Graz, Austria, the XPENG G9L marks a new milestone in the brand’s European manufacturing expansion. The first pre-production XPENG G9L travelled over 820 miles from Graz to Paris for this global launch, putting the vehicle through a real-world journey that required consideration of factors such as charging, safety and driving performance to ensure a safe arrival at the brand’s dedicated show stand.

Having first launched in 2014 in China, XPENG has undergone accelerating growth in Europe since launching in Norway in late 2020. XPENG have since delivered more than 100,000 vehicles overseas, with over 60,000 delivered across Europe. In the second quarter of 2028, the overseas delivery number for XPENG exceeded 20,000 units for the first time, up 81% year-on-year, demonstrating the brand’s exciting trajectory of success and growth as it moves into the UK market. Building on this momentum, the Greenhous XPENG partnership is set to bring an exciting, fast-growing manufacturer offering to UK customers and business fleets.

Set to reach retail customers in 2027, the XPENG G9L introduces XPENG’s Kunpeng Super Electric REEV technology, combining a large battery, rapid charging, an efficient electric drive system and intelligent energy management in one impressive package. Developed as a global model that combines XPENG’s latest AI capabilities with a chassis system that balances ride comfort with driving dynamics, the XPENG G9L offers a brand-new future-forward driving option.
